The Rundown
Kung Fu Panda 2 is a movie tie-in game for the second adventure in Po's Kung-Fu Panda saga (arguably the best movie too). The game is a short beat-em-up adventure game that takes place across several arenas, all packed with multiple collectables and enemies to defeat.
To get the platinum trophy you'll need to beat the story mode, collect all available collectables, and perform the odd combat-related trophies after that you'll see that shiny 100% completion trophy pop.

Simple Enough
The game's story is split up into 3 levels based on each master present; Croc, Ox and Shifu. You can tackle these in any order you like as all 3 master's quests will need to be completed to unlock the battle with the final boss and beat the game. Each section isn't long and will take you across most locations in the game. Each master will also teach you a new technique throughout their quest which can be used in combat and exploration in the open arenas, which you'll need to reach every collectable throughout all locations. The game remains fully explorable after beating the final boss so don't think everything needs to be wrapped up before tackling the final battle.
Collectable Nightmare
The collectables in the game are fairly straightforward but the lack of a tracker means it's very difficult to keep on top of what areas you've cleared and haven't. There are over 1500 collectables in the game with; 600 gold, 600 steel, 600 iron and a small array of other collectables such as the red symbols and specific items tied to each master. Most collectables are stashed in breakable objects or stored on walls so essentially just breaking everything in sight and jumping alongside any building, column etc should see you clear most areas without much problem.
Most areas, with most being the keyword there. Getting everything certainly wasn't the collectable cakewalk I expected. After much aimless wandering, I ended up listing every location in the game myself to start my own tracker which ran alongside a guide and forums that mentioned the overlooked collectables other players had missed on their playthrough. Also if you're planning on tackling this platinum I can't stress this enough but smoking pots can be plugged with sausages to burst and hold multiple collectables. So please bear that in mind as the game doesn't tell you and I must've gone past them more times than I care to admit.

Not everybody was Kung Fu Fighting
Outside of the collectables, there wasn't really any trophy that gave me a hard time, the combat trophies came pretty naturally once the technique was unlocked and the story trophies popped with no problem. Maybe keep an eye out for 'Blade Master' which tasks you with defeating 10 enemies whilst holding a weapon. There aren't too many pick-up weapons lying about, so it's best to get this in the area 'Village' on Shifu's quest, you can pick up a guitar or sausage and use them to defeat plenty of enemies. What I would say is the enemy spawn rates drop after beating the game, so try to make sure each combat trophy has been tackled before taking on the final boss.
With the game being so short and coming off the wanting to prolong my Kung Fu Panda hype, I wanted to have a little movie tie-in fun whilst earning another platinum trophy. However, after beating the game and how draining I found it running back through locations, trying to find the few collectables I missed the experience became a rather frustrating affair. It's not a great game either, not bad but, it's just a simple enough beat-em-up. In the end, Kung Fu Panda 2 did scratch my Kung Fu Panda itch, but its collectable palaver aggravated my soul and made for one tedious platinum hunt.
